Nervousand now, college is going to be put on pause for a year.
and i think i'm okay with that.
i think it's a relief. but it's a bit scary too.
maybe this kind of pause will be enough to help me figure life out a little better.

can't begin to understand.stand spread eagle, everything stretched, in the rain that you can't even hear because the thunder is too loud and the lightening too bright. the whole sky is lit up with something you can't even begin to understand and your mind feel the same way.can't begin to understand.
each drop of rain that hits your skin feels like a slap in the face and a gentle caress and you don't care to figure out which is which. most of your skin is uncovered and your body drinks in this storm like it's the only nourishment that you can stomach.

the planes that pass.here i lie skin exposed on frost bitten ground in a field cushioned by the white that coats everything these days. forget my peripheral vision, i lie on my back so i can only look up. from here i can see the sky where it domes so it can touch the trees. this is just airspace, tangible, you can buy and sell it. and they do. they did. look straight up and the plane that is passing reveals its belly to you. i see the detail as it crawls through the airspace, not the sky, so close to me. reach up and i feel as though i could touch.. one goes by every ten minthe planes that pass.
